Reminder from last week:
Today marks the next phase of our research in Student Affairs and Inclusive Excellence using the Culturally Engaging Campus Environments (CECE) Survey. The survey is designed to bring us insight about social, cultural, and community experiences among our undergraduate, graduate, and law students. The survey will be available online from today until 12/4. Students have all received an email invitation with a unique link to complete the survey. We are hopeful that we can capture as many student voices in this research as possible.
One of goals is to gather enough data to inform specific departments and areas of student support in order to provide meaningful and informative data for the DU Community. As such, we welcome any support in encouraging students to complete the survey. Attached you will also find a flyer about the survey with information about the survey and giveaway incentives. This research has been reviewed and approved by the University of Denver Institutional Review Board. For questions or clarification, please feel free to follow up via email. We look forward to partnering with you in this endeavor as we continue to support our student community.

As you advise students for Winter 2021, you may find helpful the attached document with information for faculty about WRIT courses. The majority of students will take WRIT 1122 in the Winter, and the Writing Program offers a variety of different options and themes for students to consider, all listed in this attached document.
As always, if you or your students have questions, please email me (richard.colby@du.edu)

2. Good morning everyone—thanks to each of you for your efforts to promote a safe and healthy community. We value student input and feedback, and we’d appreciate hearing more from you as we seek to continually improve our communication, programs, and protocols. Please take a moment to tell us more about your fall quarter experiences in a brief (less than 5 minutes) eight-question survey and to share suggestions you may have for fall and winter.
You can take the survey by clicking here. (PioneerWeb login required.)
Please let me know if you have any questions – keep safe and stay well.
With appreciation, Todd Adams
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
