Orientation Leader Information
For FSEM Professors:
Thank you so much for your work to support our first-year students in your role. We value your work and nominations for those of you that previously nominated students as we expand this partnership. We have worked to reach those nominated students via email a number of times this year encouraging them to apply. However, we are still looking for incredible student leaders! With this, if you have time we would greatly appreciate you sending out the following messaging and or promotional flyer to your current and former students. Again, thank you for the time and consideration!
Message for Students:
Discoveries Orientation is now searching for emerging leaders to join us to be Discoveries Peer Leaders/4D Mentors (formerly known as Orientation Leaders)
This is a great position for students who are looking to build their leadership skills, welcome new students to campus, meet other DU students and so much more!
Our team leaders will work 40 hours the two weeks before classes start and continue through Fall 2022 working 10 hours/week. This is a paid position! (work-study funding not necessary!)

I received 60+ nominations for first-year students this year and have been continually reaching out to those students to promote this role. Again, am always thankful for our FSEM faculty for their work in the classroom and in promoting this role.
Please let me know if there is anything further! Liz
